|Label Name||:||Gewurztraminer Bollenberg|
|Capacity||:||750 ml - Standard Bottle|
|Rating||:||RP91 - Robert Parker Wine Advocate||Tasting Note||:||Zusslins 2014 Gewurztraminer Bollenberg has an intense, straw-golden color and opens with a deep, clear (no drosophila tracks here) and flinty bouquet, which again does not serve any Gewurztraminer clichés in its smoky complexity and orange/kumquat flavors. Full-bodied and elegant, with a medium-sweet fruit, fine tannins and a delicate acidity. This is a nicely concentrated, vital and tension-filled Gewurztraminer with a well-structured, mineral finish. The 2014 is not as rich and concentrated as the dry 2013, but one of the finest and most stimulating, tension-filled Gewurztraminers I have tasted from this vintage. The finish is long, aromatic and yes, stimulating. Due to its finesse and vitality, I even prefer it to the 2013 Bollenberg La Chapelle at the moment.|
