Peter Zemmer is a family-owned estate founded in 1928 in Cortina sulla Strada del Vino (Kurtinig an der Weinstraße) in Alto Adige, one of Italy's premier regions for aromatic white wines. Today, the fourth generation of the Zemmer family cultivates approximately 60 hectares of vineyards, combining Alpine viticultural traditions with modern winemaking. The estate focuses on expressing Alto Adige's diverse terroirs, where cool mountain climates and limestone-rich soils produce wines noted for their freshness, purity and pronounced minerality. The Caprile Müller Thurgau is sourced from high-altitude vineyards at around 800 metres above sea level, where cool temperatures preserve the grape's vibrant aromatics and crisp acidity.

A dry, aromatic white wine made from 100% Müller Thurgau. Following a short cold maceration to enhance aromatic intensity, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal character. The resulting wine is light- to medium-bodied, vibrant and mineral-driven, showcasing the elegant Alpine style for which Alto Adige is renowned.

Pale straw yellow with green reflections. The nose is intensely fragrant, offering aromas of white flowers, elderflower, citrus blossom and subtle Muscat-like notes, complemented by green apple, pear and fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and elegant, combining lively citrus and orchard fruit flavours with delicate spice, pronounced minerality and refreshing acidity. Clean, dry and finely balanced, it finishes with lingering floral and mineral notes that make it an excellent aperitif or companion to seafood and light cuisine.
