Domaine Antoine Jobard is one of the most respected family estates in Meursault, Burgundy. Following the division of the renowned Domaine François Jobard in 2002, Antoine Jobard established his own domaine, quickly earning a reputation for producing some of the Côte de Beaune's most precise and age-worthy white wines. The estate farms approximately six hectares of sustainably managed vineyards, with a strong emphasis on low yields, meticulous vineyard work and restrained oak influence. While best known for its Meursault Premier Crus, Antoine Jobard's Bourgogne Chardonnay consistently outperforms its appellation, sourced from parcels surrounding Meursault that deliver remarkable mineral character and finesse. The 2019 vintage is widely regarded as an excellent year in Burgundy, producing concentrated yet beautifully balanced wines.
" Pale lemon and lime colour with some positive reduction. Ample and expressive, showing fresh quince alongside lemon and lime fruit. Plenty of substance with a light touch of toast, offering a 'mini-Meursault' character and an impressively long finish." -- Jasper Morris MW |
