The 2019 Red Wine checks in as 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 14% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot. Unquestionably outstanding, it has ripe cherries and assorted blacker fruits, notes of tobacco, peppery herbs, and graphite, medium-bodied richness, and ripe, supple tannins. I like it today yet see no reason it shouldn’t evolve for a decade or more. - Jeb Dunnuck The 2019 Red is one of the highlights in this range from The Paring, as it so often is. This Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend offers up bright red-toned fruit, blood orange and a host of floral/savory overtones. Its effusive, inviting personality is impossible to resist. - Vinous |
