Pietracupa is one of Campania's most revered estates and a benchmark producer of Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo. Founded by Sabino Loffredo in the early 1990s and based in Montefredane, the winery has earned an outstanding reputation for producing terroir-driven wines that combine precision, minerality and remarkable ageing potential. The vineyards lie at elevations of 500–700 metres on clay, limestone and volcanic soils in the hills of Irpinia, where cool temperatures preserve acidity and aromatic complexity. In the cellar, Loffredo adopts a minimalist approach, using stainless steel fermentation and careful lees ageing to highlight the purity of the Fiano grape and the distinctive character of the region.

Produced from 100% Fiano, this is a dry, medium-bodied white wine fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve varietal purity and freshness. The wine spends several months on its fine lees before bottling, adding texture while maintaining its vibrant acidity and mineral focus. Elegant rather than opulent, Pietracupa's Fiano is renowned for its balance of ripe orchard fruit, floral aromatics and saline minerality, and is capable of developing greater complexity with bottle age.

Bright straw yellow in colour. The nose is refined and expressive, offering aromas of white peach, pear and jasmine, accompanied by citrus blossom and subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is fresh and precise, with flavours of ripe orchard fruits, lemon zest and grapefruit layered over a pronounced mineral core. Notes of almond and wet stone emerge with aeration, while lively acidity provides excellent definition and length. The finish is long, clean and saline, reflecting the distinctive volcanic-influenced terroir of Irpinia.
