SU.NA.WI. (SUper NAtural WIne) is a small Italian project based in Lombardy, dedicated to producing approachable, low-intervention wines from indigenous grape varieties. The range focuses on minimal cellar manipulation, allowing the fruit and regional character to take centre stage. The wines are made with an emphasis on freshness, drinkability and authenticity, reflecting the growing movement of contemporary Italian natural winemaking. Lampo Rosso is produced from Groppello, a historic grape native to the western shores of Lake Garda in Lombardy, where it is prized for its light colour, vibrant acidity and delicate aromatics.

Lampo Rosso is a light-bodied, dry red wine made from 100% Groppello and labelled as Vino Rosso (Vino d'Italia). Produced in a fresh, low-intervention style, it offers bright acidity, soft tannins and moderate alcohol (11.5%). Rather than power or extraction, the emphasis is on purity of fruit, aromatic lift and effortless drinkability, making it ideal served slightly chilled alongside charcuterie, grilled vegetables, roast poultry and tomato-based pasta dishes.

The 2020 vintage displays a pale ruby colour with expressive aromas of cranberry, sour cherry, raspberry and wild plum, layered with hints of smoky herbs, rosemary, balsamic, black tea and subtle earthy nuances. The palate is light and lively, offering crunchy red berry fruit, refreshing acidity and fine, silky tannins. Delicate notes of dried herbs and spice add complexity before a clean, juicy finish with a gentle savoury edge. Its vibrant, easy-drinking style is reminiscent of a still Lambrusco or a delicate alpine red, with freshness and elegance taking precedence over concentration.
