Although renowned for Nebbiolo, Bruno Giacosa applies the same exacting standards to Dolcetto, crafting one of the appellation's benchmark examples from vineyards surrounding the historic Falletto estate in Serralunga d'Alba.

Made from 100% Dolcetto, this is a medium-bodied, fruit-driven red that highlights the purity and freshness of the variety. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel before the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and several months of ageing in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant fruit character. The resulting style is fresh, supple and approachable, with fine tannins, bright acidity and impressive balance, making it an excellent expression of classic Dolcetto d'Alba.

Deep ruby-purple in colour, the wine opens with expressive aromas of fresh red cherries, blackberries and wild berries, accompanied by subtle floral nuances. The palate is generous and well-structured, offering ripe red and black fruit flavours supported by lively acidity and supple tannins. Hints of spice and a savoury mineral edge add complexity, while the finish is polished, balanced and persistent, showcasing the elegance and purity that have become hallmarks of Bruno Giacosa's wines.
