Bruno Giacosa is one of the most revered names in Piedmont and is widely regarded as one of Italy's greatest traditional winemakers. Founded in the early 20th century in Neive, the estate earned its reputation through meticulous vineyard selection and an uncompromising commitment to expressing the finest terroirs of Barolo, Barbaresco and Alba. Today, under the stewardship of Bruna Giacosa, the winery continues its founder's legacy of producing wines with precision, elegance and longevity. Although renowned for Nebbiolo, Bruno Giacosa applies the same exacting standards to Dolcetto, crafting one of the appellation's benchmark examples from vineyards surrounding the historic Falletto estate in Serralunga d'Alba. Made from 100% Dolcetto, this is a medium-bodied, fruit-driven red that highlights the purity and freshness of the variety. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel before the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and several months of ageing in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant fruit character. The resulting style is fresh, supple and approachable, with fine tannins, bright acidity and impressive balance, making it an excellent expression of classic Dolcetto d'Alba.
