Torre dei Beati is one of Abruzzo's most respected boutique wineries, founded in 1999 by Fausto Albanesi and Adriana Galasso in Loreto Aprutino. Situated on the rolling hills between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, the estate farms organically certified vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils.

The winery focuses exclusively on Abruzzo's indigenous varieties, particularly Montepulciano (locally known as Cordisco), Trebbiano Abruzzese and Pecorino, with a philosophy centred on low yields, hand harvesting and minimal intervention.

Torre dei Beati has earned an outstanding reputation for producing authentic, terroir-driven wines that are consistently recognised among the finest expressions of Cerasuolo and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

Rosa-ae is a premium Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC produced from 100% Cordisco, an ancient local biotype of Montepulciano. Unlike many light rosés, Cerasuolo is traditionally deeper in colour and fuller in body, combining the freshness of a rosé with the structure and complexity of a light red wine. The wine is crafted using a combination of saignée, whole-bunch pressing and short cold skin maceration before cool fermentation in stainless steel. It is aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant fruit, floral aromatics and mineral purity.

The 2021 Rosa-ae displays a brilliant cherry-pink colour with distinctive violet hues. Aromas of wild strawberry, pomegranate and ripe cherry are complemented by delicate rose petals and fresh floral notes. The palate is generous yet vibrant, balancing ripe red fruit with crisp acidity and a pronounced mineral backbone. Smooth texture and excellent freshness lead to a long, mouthwatering finish with subtle savoury complexity. Its combination of richness and precision makes it exceptionally versatile at the table, pairing beautifully with antipasti, tomato-based pasta, seafood stews, grilled white meats and pizza.
