Produced by Adrien Renoir, one of the emerging generation of grower-producers in Champagne, this Coteaux Champenois Blanc is sourced from vineyards in Verzy, a Grand Cru village on the Montagne de Reims. While the region is best known for sparkling wines, the Coteaux Champenois appellation is reserved for still wines, offering a rare opportunity to explore the character of Champagne's terroirs without the influence of secondary fermentation.

Made from Chardonnay grown on the chalk-rich soils of Verzy, the 2022 vintage combines concentration with notable freshness. The nose reveals aromas of citrus, green apple and pear, layered with white flowers, chalk and subtle saline nuances. On the palate, the wine is finely structured and precise, with vibrant acidity supporting a core of orchard fruit and a persistent mineral finish.

The warm conditions of the 2022 growing season contributed ripe fruit and textural depth, while the region's cool climate and chalk-dominated soils preserved tension and energy. The result is a wine that balances generosity and precision, expressing both varietal purity and a strong sense of place.

As with many still wines from Champagne, production is extremely limited. The wine pairs particularly well with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, poultry and lightly creamy dishes where its acidity and mineral character can complement rather than dominate the cuisine.
