| Tasting Notes | : | The 2019 Pinot Noir Graacher Himmelreich *** is from the steepest slate, planted in 1987 with genetic material from Chambolle-Musigny. The first bottled vintage was 1990, all of 52 bottles vinified in glass. Beautiful creaminess, lifted cherry and gentle smoke carry a notion of mint and a touch of licorice. The palate is silky smooth with fine creaminess. Vivid freshness and slate smokiness are ever-present. Just a little heat appears on the finish with all the smokiness, creaminess and cherry lasting long. (Bone-dry) - Vinous |
