| Tasting Note | : |
Aroma: Gregarious, opulent notes of red and black currants, plum preserves, and fresh blackberries, complemented by hints of rose petal, peony, star anise, licorice, and faint smoky tobacco.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied with a luxurious, velvety, and polished mouthfeel. The palate is characterized by rich, concentrated fruit, a firm, fine-grained backbone of tannins, and wonderful, lively, limestone-derived acidity.
Finish: Long, fragrant, and focused, with lingering notes of bitter chocolate, fennel, and a distinct salty, mineral, or graphite character.
Structure: It combines opulent fruit with a "powerhouse" of tannin, requiring a few years to fully integrate.
