Occidental Vineyards
Nestled on the western edge of the Sonoma Coast, Occidental Vineyard was founded by Steve Kistler with a belief that the climate and soils around Bodega were perfect for Burgundian-style Pinot Noir. Perched atop a southern-exposed ridge at elevations ranging from 400 to 750 feet, Occidental offers breathtaking views of the surrounding lowlands and the Pacific Ocean. The vineyards are uniquely positioned to receive daily winds and fog, a natural blessing that moderates the temperature and slow-ripening of the fruit.
