Nose: The wine opens with rich, concentrated aromas of black cherry, cassis, and redcurrant jelly, layered with complex floral and earthy notes like crushed violets, lilacs, tobacco, cigar box, and subtle hints of graphite and menthol.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied with a dark, muscular, and dense structure. The Merlot brings immediate mid-palate richness, while the Cabernet Franc adds liveliness, spice, and freshness. It finishes long and refined with velvety tannins.
Serving Tips: This vintage is drinking beautifully, but requires a decant of at least 1.5 to 3 hours prior to serving to fully open up and soften. It pairs exceptionally well with rich meat dishes, roasted lamb, duck, and beef.
