the Cantina Terlano Lagrein is dark garnet red with notes of dried cranberries and sour cherries in the nose, supplemented with a floral note of lilac and hints of laurel. There are also notes of a subdued chocolate aroma. On the palate, the wine is very juicy and harmonious, with a delicate texture and silky tannins and the Lagrein develops a rare opulence and is rich and velvety on the palate. Delicious with steak rolls with mashed potatoes, or roast venison with red cabbage; also with hard cheeses such as ripe Parmesan cheese.
