| Tasting Notes | : | A new red blend form Itata, the 2018 Las Olvidadas Mezcla Tinta was produced with an 80/20 blend of extremely old País and San Francisco, a grape they think might be Negramoll from their vineyard (2,507 ancient plants). The grapes fermented together after being hand destemmed like the traditional Pipeño wines, without any additions, and then the wine was put in barrel for malolactic and 14 months of aging. It has a wild, captivating nose that is complex, perfumed and very attractive, mixing herbs, berries and flowers. 2018 was a very harmonious and clean year with healthy grapes, and the wine is precise and focused.
