La Chapelle Hermitage brings us back to 1224, when the knight Henri-Gaspard de Sterimberg, back from the crusades, decides to settle as a hermit on a small hill. He built a small chapel and surrounded it with Syrah vines, establishing the legendary Hermitage hill.

Since 1919, the Jaboulet and Frey families have succeeded one another in cultivating the vines of this now iconic cuvée — La Chapelle. A blend of the great terroirs of western Hermitage, where elevation is the highest: Les Bessards (granit) , Le Méal & Les Roucoules (pebble).

Indulge in the finesse of Château La Lagune's feminine Bordeaux blend alongside the iconic La Chapelle Hermitage, one of the Rhone's finest.
