The 2013 Domaine Pignier Côtes du Jura GPS is a distinctive Jura white wine produced by Domaine Pignier, one of the region's oldest estates, whose history can be traced back to the 13th century. Based in the village of Montaigu, the estate is a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in the Jura and is widely respected for its commitment to preserving traditional grape varieties and low-intervention winemaking.

The cuvée takes its name from the initials of the three grape varieties used in the blend: Gamay Blanc (the historical local name for Chardonnay), Poulsard, and Savagnin. The varieties are co-planted and harvested together, reflecting traditional Jura viticulture. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing in oak barrels with minimal intervention and no filtration, allowing the wine to express both vineyard and vintage with clarity.

After more than a decade of development, the 2013 vintage offers aromas of preserved lemon, dried apple and quince, layered with notes of chamomile, beeswax, toasted nuts and subtle spice. On the palate, it is textured yet vibrant, with fresh acidity supporting flavours of orchard fruit, citrus peel and savoury mineral nuances. The presence of Savagnin contributes structure and tension, while Poulsard adds aromatic lift and delicacy. The finish is long, saline and complex, revealing the distinctive character of Jura's limestone-rich terroirs.
