Beaune 1er Cru Chouacheux 2021 is a beautiful deep ruby red, almost garnet in color. The nose has ripe aromas of cherry and plum, with touches of leather and licorice. In the mouth it is powerful and concentrated, with velvety tannins and fresh acidity. The dominant sensation is of small red fruits with a savory and mineral streak typical of the terroir. The finish is very long, with spicy notes of clove and vanilla. This is a Pinot Noir of great complexity that needs a few years in bottle to express its full potential. |
