| Tasting Note | : | Le Petit Cheval 2012 is a gourmet, unctuous and subtly harmonious wine. The color is garnet with purple reflections. The nose is dominated by Cabernet Franc where black fruit blends with the freshness of mint and liquorice. Aromas of blackcurrant and black cherries compose a harmonious nose. On the palate, the attack is frank, the well-balanced acidity plays an essential role. The heart of the mouth is dense while developing a delicacy built on a creamy, unctuous texture that perfectly envelops the yet dense and powerful tannins. The long and fresh finish brilliantly ends the tasting of this Petit Cheval of a great level. |
