Picked on 31 August, the same day as the Montrachet, it has a clean and precise bouquet, with a mixture of yellow and white flowers filtering through the citrus fruit augmented by grilled walnut, pine needle and praline aromas. The palate is intense on the entry with lemon peel, orange rind and white pepper notes. I love the weight and the drive of this Bouchérès, and it delivers superb salinity on the finish that urges you back for another sip. This would be one of my picks from the domaine. |
