The vineyard is planted with those 5 varieties (a difficult technique that consists of replacing the aged or dead vine plants). The blend involves not only the grape varieties, but also the harvest years used, which are three years. The number of bottle is very low : about 1.000 bottles. The colour is a bright gold. The nose is very complex, every variety bringing its complexity : red berries with Pinot Noir, flowers with Chardonnay, acacia and white truffle with Arbane, and candied apple with Petit Meslier are the main distinguished fragrances in this exceptional Champagne. The taste is very fine but powerful and stays on a creamy build. |
