Tasting Note | : | The NV Assemblage Brut Tradition is a Pinot Meunier-dominated blend of the three main grape varieties in Champagne that were sourced south of Épernay and in the Vallée de la Marne. The base vintage is 2013, and the reserve wines account for 25%. Disgorged in October 2017 with a low dosage of five grams per liter, the Tradition is pure, clear and fruity as well as herbal on the nose, with cherry and currant aromas. Pure, fresh and linear, with remarkable precision, finesse and fruitiness, this cuvée reveals a well-structured palate with an almost astringent and grippy finish. Tasted at the domaine in April 2018. |
