Domaine Belargus
“Domaine Belargus is the name that should populate the world’s finest wine lists.” – Stephen Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate
A loving extension of the brainchild and vision of the notable producer of the Anjou, Jo Pithon, Domaine Belargus previously known as Pithon-Paillé, the languid vineyard that has long been known to produce exultant pieces of white wines—no, art.
Using biodynamics and organic material to produce their wines, the Chenin Blanc they make tells its tales of elegance and beauty like a shrewd woman in the opulent era of the 1920s, luxurious, grandiose, and layered with sweet intrigue. Treat it well, and it births a taste full of sweetness, with a tinge of a fruity aroma to tickle one's senses.
Clearly, there is more to the process of making such elegance. But there is little to hit and miss with such an explosive, refreshing and full-bodied adventure that only Domaine Belargus’ wines can give.
