Tasting Note :

La Croix de Brully is a small Chambolle-Musigny producer holding premier cru parcels within this most perfumed of Cote de Nuits appellations. Les Noirots is a premier cru site at the southern end of the commune, bordering the Clos de Vougeot appellation, and is characterised by limestone-rich soils at the lower slope elevation. The site produces wines with Chambolle's characteristic floral aromatic delicacy combined with the slightly fuller body of the south-facing parcels.

The 2022 Burgundy vintage was warm and generous, producing wines of ripe, expressive fruit and softer tannins than the more structured 2021 or 2019. In Chambolle-Musigny, the vintage's warmth has delivered accessible, fruit-forward wines that drink well relatively young while retaining the appellation's characteristic aromatic precision. Les Noirots at premier cru level from a focused small producer should offer both appellational quality and genuine Chambolle character.

Chambolle-Musigny premier cru wines from small, focused estates continue to attract collector interest as the appellation's reputation deepens and the benchmark wines of the village become less accessible. The combination of Les Noirots' site quality, the 2022 vintage character and a small-production domaine's attention to quality offers a compelling introduction for buyers exploring the appellation beyond the major estate names.

Drink from 2025 to 2033. Pair with roast guinea fowl, pigeon, mushroom risotto or creamy goat's cheese. Serve at 15 degrees in a broad Burgundy glass.

Pale ruby with a bright, translucent rim. The Chambolle aromatic signature is clear: red cherry, rose petal, violet and fine limestone minerality. The palate is elegant and medium-bodied with silky tannins, lively acidity and a persistent floral finish. Accessible now and well-structured for short-term ageing.
