Domaine Boigey Freres is a small Burgundy producer with holdings in Nuits-Saint-Georges, working premier cru sites in one of the Cote de Nuits' most consistently well-regarded appellations. Les Boudots is one of the most distinguished of Nuits-Saint-Georges' 39 premiers crus, situated at the northern boundary of the commune adjacent to Vosne-Romanee, a position that gives the vineyard a character noticeably more refined and aromatic than the broader, more muscular Nuits-Saint-Georges style.

Les Boudots occupies 6.5 hectares on the Vosne side of Nuits-Saint-Georges, at elevations between 260 and 300 metres on limestone-rich soils with a good proportion of clay. Wines from this site share some of the red-fruit delicacy and floral lift associated with Vosne-Romanee, while retaining the backbone and mineral depth that define premier cru Nuits-Saint-Georges.
