A deep and expressive Pinot Noir showing layers of ripe dark berries lifted by subtle slate-mineral aromas. The palate is refined yet powerful, framed by silky, well-integrated tannins. Finishes long and clean, with juicy berry tones and a distinctly slate-etched purity.

Vineyard Origin

Sourced from the renowned Brauneberger Mandelgraben in the Middle Mosel, a classic steep slope with slate-rich soils mixed with quartzite and gravel. The site stretches toward the forest line, ensuring excellent natural water balance even in warm, dry years. Pinot Noir from this vineyard is known for its vibrancy, precision, and finesse.

Winemaking

Meticulous vineyard work and strict fruit selection produced exceptionally healthy, fully ripe grapes. After gentle destemming, the wine underwent spontaneous fermentation and a 3½-week maceration, followed by 15 months of maturation in oak barrels — shaping a wine of depth, structure, and purity.
