La Spinetta is one of Italy's most acclaimed wineries and a benchmark producer in both Piedmont and Tuscany. Founded in 1977 by Giuseppe Rivetti in Castagnole Lanze, the estate initially focused on Moscato before expanding into Barbaresco, Barolo and Tuscany. Today, the Rivetti family farms more than 160 hectares of organically managed vineyards across Italy's finest appellations.

The Il Rosé di Casanova is produced at La Spinetta's Casanova estate in Tuscany, acquired in 2001. Located near Terricciola in the province of Pisa, the estate benefits from rolling hills, limestone-rich soils and a Mediterranean climate, producing elegant wines that combine freshness with expressive fruit.

The grapes are gently pressed with only brief skin contact to achieve the wine's delicate onion-skin colour. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by approximately three months of ageing on the fine lees to enhance texture while preserving freshness.
