It has enticing silky texture and wonderful balance. It is indeed charming. A very concentrated, dense Syrah with big fruit flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant and plum. It also has savoury flavours of black olive, leather and the liquorice characteristic of Stonecroft Syrahs. It is juicy, generous suave and sophisticated. The wine also has a good tannic backbone. A wine which deserves to be cellared. |
