White wine from Beaune Premier Cru represents one of the most interesting and underexplored categories in Côte de Beaune white wine production, offering the collector an experience of the appellation’s mineral character without the prices or the waiting time demanded by the finest Meursault, Chassagne and Puligny Premier Crus. A.F. Gros’s reputation for quality across both colours and their rigorous approach to each vineyard holding makes this an unusually reliable expression of a proposition that many collectors have overlooked.

Pale gold with a fresh and mineral nose of lemon, green apple, white peach, chalk and a light hazelnut note from the Beaune limestone. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with good natural acidity, clean concentration from the 2022 vintage and a precise, mineral finish of genuine interest and character. Best from 2025 through 2033.
