Then sweet, sappy and brisk on the palate, delivering an exciting balance of sucrosité and mineral-driven acidity. The black raspberry and crushed-stone flavors mount impressively on the long, refined back end. Shows a medicinal reserve that suggests this wine will be a slow developer, but even today the tannins are nicely buffered by fruit. |
