Engaging aromas of sweet plum and chocolate with a sprinkle of dried herbs and spice. The palate leans more into the medium bodied zone showing fine chalky tannin influences underlying generous, intense fruit. French oak has been wisely chosen as the appropriate addition and it completes an excellent wine for drinking in the medium term while all those vibrant primary flavours are so pronounced. But don’t be afraid to keep a little longer for some additional fun. |
