The grapes come from a special growing area with compact Galestro soils. These conditions contribute to the richness and concentration of the wine, which has unmistakable notes of iron ore, pencil shavings and rust. These precise flavours frame a deep, dark core of cherry or blackberry jam. This vintage has a certain added fatness or fruit weight that adds to its power and overall impact.
