The bouquet is crammed with Vosne spices and stony minerality – very expressive with a lovely sweet and charming fruit. The palate offer intense midpalate fruit, a lovely minerality and a long quite powerful finish – so typical for this fine vneyard. The fruit is charming, matured and pure – typical 2000 – but is like most other wines from this vintage lacking a bith of depth and nerve compared with the best vintages. This wine is nevertheless a utter joy – and a very impressive effort for the vintage – a lovely wine from Anne Gros. |
