The 2017 Meursault Vendange Sélectionée comes from a parcel of the oldest vines, around 80-years in age. It has a refined bouquet with wax resin and linseed, just a hint of fennel complementing the citrus fruit. The palate offers a touch more race and tension than the regular cuvée, certainly more on the back palate with walnut and ginger coming through nicely. Excellent. Vinous From parcels that touch Santenots, the 2017 Meursault Vendanges Sélectionnées offers up aromas of yellow orchard fruit, flowers and fresh peach. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and nicely concentrated, with more depth and dimension than the regular Meursault, its generous core of fruit balanced by juicy acids.
