The dense yet refined medium weight flavors possess a positively gorgeous texture that carries over to the markedly stony bitter lemon zest finale that possesses not only stunningly good length but terrific complexity as well. This borderline tannic effort is very much built to reward extended cellaring and will need at least some. The word brilliant comes to mind and the 2020 version is one of the best recent Matrot Perrières I've seen. *Burghound Outstanding!* |
