About BOL Gallery
Born from a vision to blend the cultural and historical tapestry of a heritage building in Singapore with Korean art. BOL Gallery weaves a narrative that transcends time, inspired by the origin of the word “bol”, a rounded vessel that brings luck and abundance. Situated at the Blair Plain Conservation Area, the gallery is situated in a building that was constructed in the “Early Shophouse” style in the 19th century, and has endured through humble beginnings of Singapore. Such a significant historical background inspired the founders to envision a space where the echoes of the past could harmonise with contemporary creativity, creating a dynamic dialogue between tradition and innovation.
