Founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, Piper-Heidsieck is one of Champagne's oldest and most prestigious houses. After Heidsieck's death, the house came under the leadership of Henri-Guillaume Piper, giving rise to the Piper-Heidsieck name. Throughout its history, the maison has built a reputation for vibrant, fruit-driven Champagnes and has long been associated with celebration, luxury and the world of cinema.

Today, under the direction of Chef de Caves Émilien Boutillat, Piper-Heidsieck continues to blend tradition with innovation. The house sources grapes from more than 100 crus across Champagne, with a strong emphasis on Pinot Noir, which forms the backbone of its signature style. Brut Rosé Sauvage is one of the maison's flagship cuvées, recognised for its generous fruit character, freshness and gastronomic versatility.

Brut Rosé Sauvage is typically blended from approximately 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Pinot Meunier and 25% Chardonnay, with a proportion of still red Pinot Noir wine added to enhance colour, structure and red fruit character. The wine is matured on its lees before disgorgement, resulting in greater complexity while maintaining freshness.

Brilliant salmon-pink in colour, the wine displays expressive aromas of blood orange, wild strawberry, cranberry, raspberry and red cherry, complemented by notes of toasted brioche, citrus zest and delicate spice. The palate is medium-bodied with a lively mousse, vibrant acidity and flavours of fresh red berries, pink grapefruit and subtle pastry notes. Its crisp mineral finish and balanced structure make it equally suited as an aperitif or alongside seafood, salmon, duck or berry-based desserts.
